Today, the Board of the West Virginia Manufacturers Association (WVMA) announced a unanimous endorsement of U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito for reelection. WVMA represents manufacturing companies across the Mountain State as well as other businesses who are dependent on manufacturing for their success.
“Manufacturing in West Virginia is growing at a historic rate because of investments made possible by Senator Capito’s work in Washington. Existing companies are expanding, new companies are choosing West Virginia, and Senator Capito continues her efforts to make this happen by cutting red tape and prioritizing economic development that will put food on the table for our families,” said Bill Bissett, President of the WVMA. “Through her leadership in the U.S. Senate and as Chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, she is making investments in our infrastructure and helping connect West Virginians with the resources they need. We are fortunate to have a fellow West Virginian of Senator Capito’s experience and ability representing us in our nation’s capital.”
"I am honored to receive the unanimous endorsement of the West Virginia Manufacturers Association and deeply value their partnership in strengthening our state’s economy. My work in the U.S. Senate remains 1 focused on cutting burdensome regulations that stifle growth and hinder our manufacturing capacities. By reducing red tape and federal bureaucracy, we are empowering manufacturers to expand, attracting new businesses, and creating more high-paying jobs for West Virginians. I’m committed to advancing pro-growth policies that ensure West Virginia remains a competitive place to do business and build a more prosperous future for all families across the Mountain State."
