WVMAConn 2023 1040x150 2

“This conference has become a marquee event in West Virginia,” WVMA President Bill Bissett said. “In the 10-plus years that the WVMA has been organizing it, MEGS has grown to become a forum for experts in a wide variety of fields to share their knowledge on manufacturing and energy production. This year, we also had presentations on corporate safety, economics and even politics, since we have a Primary Election just around the corner.”

Some of the confirmed speakers at the event included:

  • Dr. John Deskins, West Virginia University Bureau of Business and Economic Research
  • Special Agents Jarred Shockey and Michael McDonald, Federal Bureau of Investigation
  • Jay West, American Chemistry Council

Bissett said the Manufacturing and Energy Growth Summit delivered on its promise to provide valuable insights and networking opportunities. Summit attendees explored the broader intersections of manufacturing and energy from power generation to downstream manufacturing development. In addition, MEGS was approved for continuing education credits for several professions.

Attendees also enjoyed opportunities to network with their peers and engage with sponsors and exhibitors. The full agenda is available at www.wvmegs.com.
